Korean Vision Group and Tuma Enterprises Forge Partnership to Transform Africa’s EV and Telecom Markets



On November 1, Korea’s Vision Group, led by Chairman Han Dae-yong, signed a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tuma Enterprises, headed by Arnold H. Badio, often referred to as the “Elon Musk of Africa.” This collaboration aims to revolutionize Africa’s electric vehicle (EV) market and expand telecom infrastructure, setting a new standard for international partnerships.


The MOU outlines extensive cooperation in areas such as EV development, charging infrastructure expansion, and the introduction of smart city solutions. Combining the technological expertise and vision of both companies, this agreement is poised to become a milestone in global innovation.


Tuma Enterprises, a global tech firm with offices in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Kenya, and the U.S., is committed to developing and distributing EVs tailored to the local African market. Through this partnership, Tuma Enterprises plans to accelerate EV adoption across Africa and establish a robust charging station network in countries like Liberia.

Vision Group will play a pivotal role in expanding telecom infrastructure throughout Africa. By introducing advanced communication systems, they aim to deliver reliable networks to support EV operations through digital platforms. Additionally, Vision Group plans to integrate renewable energy solutions, such as solar and tidal power systems, into smart city initiatives, ensuring sustainable energy supply while fostering innovation in urban development.


Upcoming Release : Neo Tuma


Through its multi-functional “W” super app, Vision Group will enable African consumers to conveniently purchase EVs and smartphones. The app will also provide premium digital services, including OTT streaming, music, gaming, webtoons, online education, and telemedicine, enhancing users’ digital experiences.

The collaboration extends beyond technology, focusing on smart city projects powered by the synergy of EVs and renewable energy. These efforts are expected to address energy shortages, promote eco-friendly urban growth, and drive digital economic transformation across Africa.


Han Dae-yong, Chairman of Vision Group, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating, “Our collaboration with Tuma Enterprises marks a significant step forward for Africa’s EV industry and telecom innovation.
